Game Condition
Because of our prices some new customers think we sell used games. We do not.
All games are new.
Since we import games from all over the world, we often have some games in inventory with box damage. The damage is to the box only. If you don't mind a dinged game box (Our box damage classifications range from "Hardly Noticeable" to "Even Worse Than Very Badly Damaged".) you can save yourself a few bucks by buying a game with a damaged box. If you're interested in purchasing a game with a damaged box, try searching for "Box," "Damage," or "Box Damage."
Imports
Except for Vae Victis Magazine all of our imported games come with English
rules or an English translation of the rules unless otherwise noted.
Shipping Time
Most orders ship within one or two working days. Sometimes it takes a day
longer but that is rarely the case. During the Christmas rush it may take
up to 3 working days to ship an order. Orders outside the 48 contiguous states
take longer.
Travel time from Georgia is usually 2 days to all of the Southeast and most
of the Midwest, 3 days to states north of Virginia and west of Arkansas, 4
or 5 days to states west of the Rockies.
Payments
We take MasterCard, Visa, and Discover through a secure server on our website.
There is never an extra charge for using a credit card. This is, by far, the
fastest and easiest way to pay.
Another option is to find out the shipping by going through part of the ordering
process online and then mailing the order with a money order. If part of your
order is out of stock by the time the order arrives, we will ship what is
in stock with a refund.
Sales Tax
No sales tax is charged unless your order is shipped to an address in Georgia.
Returns
We will accept the return of any item in original condition sent back to us
within 10 days of your receiving it. When the item is received by us in undamaged
condition the price of the game will be refunded.
If the return is caused by our error we will, of course, also refund the shipping
we charged you for that item and the cost of returning the item by cheapest
means and will give you a credit of $5 or more depending on the circumstances.
Price Matching
Since 1989 it has been our prices that the competition has been asked to match.
We save you money even when you buy from another retailer. Out of desperation
some competitors come up with bogus “Low Price Guarantees”. They
promise to match our price and do if there is not much difference in price
but when there is a big difference in price they often claim that they can’t
match our prices because those are “sale” items or “loss-leader
items” or “bait-and-switch” items. All our “sale”
items are clearly marked and we have never used the kind of “loss-leader’
or “bait-and-switch” routines that at least one of our competitors
is so familiar with.
We think prices should be kept as low as possible and that is what we do.
If you find someone selling games for less than us (other than the manufacturer
or as part of a sale) then we want to know so we can lower our price--not
just for you but for everyone. Otherwise, you have a “catch-us-if-you-can”
policy.
For example, at the time this is being written (30 Dec ‘02), our price
for Keythedral is $59.80 and our price for Kings & Things
is $69.80. One of our competitors who claims to guarantee the lowest price
sells Keythedral for $99.95 and Kings & Things for $119.90.
(They will probably change these prices when they see this but you can be
sure there will still be many other examples of the same huge price differences.)
This means that if one of their customers asks them to match our price and
they don’t weasel out with some nonsense about those games being “loss-leaders,”
then one of their customers pays $90 more than the other customer for the
same two games. That’s just not fair, and a reputable company doesn't
charge one customer $219.90 for the same two games that they sell to another
customer for $129.60 just because the first customer doesn’t know about

Damaged Games
We spend a lot of money on packing materials and packing labor to make sure
your games get to you looking just like they did when we shipped them but
occasionally some teamster is going to manage to put some dents and dings
in an order.
If you receive damaged goods contact us as soon as possible so we can file
a claim and send you replacements. If the order is large and the damage extensive
our shipper may want to inspect the shipping box and contents. Just to make
things simple we sometimes offer to take a few dollars off the price of games
that received a minor ding or dent during shipping but will, of course, replace
the games if you prefer.
Defective Games
We are responsible for the games we sell you even when the problem is beyond
our control. Sometimes the fastest way to replace defective or missing parts
is to contact the manufacturer. They are often anxious to impress the people
who buy their games with good customer service. But, if you have any problem
getting what you need with a minimum of fuss then we will do whatever it takes
to make sure you get what you paid for.
